The rapid development of e-commerce in recent years has led to a large increase in the demand for logistics services. To equip students with nece ssary skills and knowledge in a real-life environment, the programme emphasises practical training through providing job opportunities in logistics companies, express courier companies, airlines and cargo operators, and utilising VR technology to provide an interactive and immersive virtual training environment for aviation and logistics operations.

The programme focuses on logistics management, aviation and airport cargo operations, express integrators, freight forwarders, shipping practices and service management and equips students to obtain professional qualifications. Graduates are entitled to partial exemption from the Professional Qualifying Examination of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong*. The programme also enables students to appreciate the technology advancement in logistics and cargo and aviation industries in improving customer satisfaction and operation efficiency.

• Special Cargo Handling Graduates are employed in logistics and aviation management in both public sector and commercial organisations including logistics companies, international express courier companies, airlines and government departments. Graduates are competent to take up positions like Logistics Officers, Express Courier Operation Officers and Airline Operations Assistants. The programme has established closed relationship with business enterprises and professional bodies. We will invite guest speakers from industry and arrange logistics and aviation-related job opportunities for students. Graduates are entitled to partial exemption from the Professional Qualifying Examination of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong*.
