VPAS Full-time Higher Diploma Programmes
Graduates are Permitted to Work and Stay in Hong Kong
Graduates of BA VPAS full-time HD (2-year) programmes are eligible to apply for staying in Hong Kong for employment in trades relevant to their programmes of study. They are eligible to apply for Hong Kong permanent residency after accumulating a total of 7 years of residency in Hong Kong (including 2 years of study, 1 year for job search and subsequent 4 years of employment).

IVE (Tsing Yi) offers 3 full-time HD programmes under VPAS that are specifically tailored to the aviation, transport, and logistics industries. Two programmes among them are available in both English and Putonghua as mediums of instruction to accommodate students' preferences. Additionally, students benefit from cutting-edge facilities at the upcoming Aviation and Maritime Education Center, which has been scheduled to be completed in 2025.

Higher Diploma in Aviation and Logistics
• The rapid development of e-commerce in recent years has led to a large increase in the demand for logistics services. To equip students with nece ssary skills and knowledge in a real-life environment, the programme emphasises practical training through providing job opportunities in logistics companies, express courier companies, airlines and cargo operators, and utilising VR technology to provide an interactive and immersive virtual training environment for aviation and logistics operations.
• The programme focuses on logistics management, aviation and airport cargo operations, express integrators, freight forwarders, shipping practices and service management and equips students to obtain professional qualifications. Graduates are entitled to partial exemption from the Professional Qualifying Examination of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong*. The programme also enables students to appreciate the technology advancement in logistics and cargo and aviation industries in improving customer satisfaction and operation efficiency.

Higher Diploma in Aviation Inflight and Passenger Services
• The programme aims to provide students with an accredited qualification with practical training in inflight services and passenger transport, equipping them with professional skill set and workplace experience to lay a solid foundation for various business operations in related industries. The programme will also provide training in inflight and passenger services with the support from airline companies.
• Students will be arranged to practise at the industry-graded cabin mock-up in the Air TY Centre in the campus and conduct workplace attachment in airline companies and other passenger transport service providers. These training opportunities enable students to establish a correct and positive attitude to customers and acquire the necessary skills and tools to deliver quality inflight and passenger services.
Higher Diploma in Aviation Services and Transport Studies
• As an international modern city and aviation hub, there is an increasing demand for talents in operations and management of aviation services and various modes of transportation including rail, sea, and road. This programme aims to assist students to build a sound basis for various aviation services operating at the airport and different modes of public and private transport operations with the aid of the latest technology for learning and teaching.
• The programme equips students to obtain professional qualifications. Graduates are entitled to partial exemption from the Professional Qualifying Examination of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong*.

- Higher Diploma in Aviation and Logistics and Higher Diploma in Aviation Services and Transport Studies are available in both English and Putonghua as mediums of instruction. The programmes conducted in Putonghua will be accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications.
