The rapid development of e-commerce in recent years has led to a large increase in the demand for logistics services. To equip students with necessary skills and knowledge in a real-life environment, the programme emphasises practical training through providing job opportunities in logistics companies, express courier companies, airlines and cargo operators, and utilising VR technology to provide an interactive and immersive virtual training environment for aviation and logistics operations.
The programme focuses on logistics management, aviation and airport cargo operations, express integrators, freight forwarders, shipping practices and service management and equips students to obtain professional qualifications. • Special Cargo Handling Graduates are equipped to be employed in logistics and aviation management under different types of organisations including logistics companies, international express courier companies and airlines. Graduates may be employed as logistics officers, express courier operation officers and airline operations assistants. The programme has established closed relationship with business enterprises and professional bodies. We will invite guest speakers from industry and arrange logistics and aviation-related job opportunities for students.
